- Rangehood and filters, stovetop and splashback
- Inside all cupboards and drawers
- Sink, taps, and benchtops descaled and polished
- Dishwasher filter and door seals
Bathrooms
- Shower screen descaled, grout scrubbed
- Toilet including behind and around the base
- Mirrors, vanity, and inside cabinets
- Exhaust fan cover washed
Bedrooms and living areas
- Walls spot-cleaned, marks and scuffs removed
- Skirting boards, door frames, and light switches wiped
- Windows, tracks, and sills cleaned inside
- Wardrobes emptied and wiped inside
- Carpets professionally steam cleaned (many agents require a receipt)
Outside
- Balcony or courtyard swept and cobwebs removed
- Garage swept, oil stains treated
- Bins emptied and rinsed
Timing
Book cleaning for after the removalists have finished — cleaning around boxes never ends well. A 2-bed unit takes a professional team 3–5 hours; allow a full day if you’re doing it yourself.
